Everything’s Bigger in Texas!
AG speaking AKA Ally.
When we arrive in the restaurant it looks like a normal BBQ restaurant.
Since I am growing out of a kids menu (The menu usually says “12 and under use a kids menu” but I have broken that rule many times) I WAS going to get a grown up meal but my mom kept saying NO its too BIG. I kept on saying “the kids meal is too small” because in Georgia we went to a BBQ restaurant and I ordered from the kids menu and they gave me two ribs that were 6 inches. BUT not in Texas! When the food came I was dumfounded. The food was massive, six 7 inch ribs, and that was just the Kids meal!!! They said they made it from scratch.
When I looked over at my dads food it had doubled in size which I hadn’t thought was possible. And the desert, don’t get me started the cake ( cheesecake with strawberries), it was the size of an actual birthday cake from Costco! So now I know to get a kids menu… only in Texas of course!
I can’t wait to see what other “kids sized” BBQ waits me!
Sincerely,
Ally

The place was called Salt Grass, it was yummy!
