It’s About Time

Well, the time has come. Are you ready for some crazy beautiful?! We are just over two weeks from heading out on our year long road trip. The anticipation is building, along with the pile of boxes from Amazon.  The last few weeks have been very full and at times downright stressful.  We’ve been working on vehicles, insurances, RV parts and supplies, making reservations and last minute appointments here in San Diego.  

We are planning to leave the San Diego area around the 7th-8th of July and head to see our families in the LA area until the 14th/15th.  Our first stop will be Monterey,CA and San Francisco.  From there we will head to Oregon and then the greater Seattle area.  Of course we will be sharing on this blog and on our Instagram page @loco.nani.  You can sign up here on the website for email updates.

Our trailer is a 2009 Keystone Hideout and we are pulling with a Ford Excursion.  If you haven’t seen our trailer renovation video you can check that out on YouTube here.

-To the Schellenberg family for trading cars with us for the year! For taking our kids and always willing to help us whenever they can.  

-The insurance for the car and trailer are complete! This was a long tedious process.

-We found a missionary family to live in our house for the year, and the Navy will pay for storing our furniture. 

Prayers

-Prayers for our protection and safety, especially during driving (and parking).  

-Prayers for our transition into this new lifestyle, it will be a transition for all of us.

-Prayers for my last follow-up doctor appointment this week
